|Donna M. Chambers, 81, a lifelong resident of Suamico, WI passed away Monday, November 11, 2013. She was born November 2, 1932 to Francis and Iola (Giese) Peters. Donna graduated from West High School with the class of 1950. On August 19, 1950 she was united in marriage to Patrick J. Chambers at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Suamico. This past August they celebrated 63 years together. She spent her life raising her 7 children and was a loving and devoted wife. Donna worked for many years as secretary for her fatherís business, Peters Trucking Co. Later she worked for Allen Hearing Aids. Donna was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a member of the Christian Mothers Society. She and Pat were members of the Whirl-A-Way Square Dance Club where they enjoyed many dances and state conventions also making many lifelong friends. Donna was an avid Packer fan.
Survivors include her husband, Patrick J. Chambers; children, Patricia and Patrick Bryhan, Suamico; Terry and Pam Chambers, Schaumburg, IL; Dennis (Otis) Chambers and Karin Hartman, Green Bay; Melody Chambers, De Pere and special friend Stu Lemke; Robert and Doris Chambers, Suamico; Maureen and Jack Henson, Jacksonville FL; grandchildren, Ben (Becky) Bryhan, Nate Bryhan, Kelly (Andy) Barnes, Tina (Adam) Ivy, Tim (Stephanie) Chambers, Brian (Kelly) Chambers, Karlee Chambers, Tara (Josh) Frappy, Andrew Prochniak, Alec Prochniak, Mark (Tara) Homel, Kevin (Denise) Homel; eleven great-granchildren; brother, James and Janice Peters; sister- in-law, Mary Schaefer. Donna is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her son, Scott Chambers; parents, Francis and Iola (Giese) Peters; sister, Melody Peters; in-laws, William and Sara (Nesbitt) Chambers.
Family and friends may call at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Friday, Nov. 15 from 4 until 7:00 p.m. Prayer service 6:30 p.m. Friday with Deacon Nick Williams. Visitation continues on Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2561 Glendale Ave., from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev.
